
Associate Professor Brian Miller is a general surgeon and lecturer in the University of Queensland Department of Surgery, based at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. His special academic interests are in colorectal surgery, trauma management and teaching.
He was raised in Kenya, obtained his medical degree at King's College Hospital in London and was a surgical resident and staff surgeon in Canada before migrating to Australia in 1988.

Clinical Studies in various aspects of colorectal disease: volvulus, colon cancer perforation, colovesical fistula and pre-op R/T for rectal cancer.
Longitudinal studies by pre and post testing of Surgical Knowledge in medical students. West Timor goitre Lipiodol study, stapling for haemorrhoids after spinal injury, and Chordoma.
